‘There’s so much for us to say’ videos
We’ve just released a new four-part video series, There’s so much for us to say, featuring the peer researchers who led this project. Each of them has played a central role in shaping, conducting, and interpreting the research.
Together, we listened to the experiences of 35 Black British and South Asian people living with MS and explored what helps people live well with MS, what gets in the way, and what needs to change. Across the conversations, people spoke honestly about how language, culture, age, gender, and place can all shape access to care, information, and support.
In this video series, the peer researchers reflect on the process, what it was like to be part of the work, what they’ve learned, and what they hope will come next.
Video 1: “What this work is about” introduces the project and what it set out to do.
Video 2: “Why we joined the research” explains why the peer researchers wanted to get involved.
Video 3: “What we’ve taken from it” shares what the experience has meant to them.
Video 4: “What needs to change” are conversations about what stood out, and what the peer researchers hope this research will lead to.
