Structural Inequalities event

On 14 November, Dr Sharifa Battashi attended the Structural Inequalities in the Clinical Neurosciences course organised by City, St George’s University of London.

As part of the programme, she presented a poster on this study, showcasing the research process and emerging findings to an audience of health researchers, healthcare professionals, and medical students.

The attendees asked questions about how the peer researchers were recruited, how their involvement was sustained throughout the research process, and how they contributed to dissemination activities. The discussions offered a valuable opportunity to share learnings from the study and talk about how lived experience can be better embedded in research.
