Peer researcher training programme is now available

We’re delighted that the MS Peer Researcher Training Programme developed through our project is now freely available through the MS Society.

The programme grew out of the training we developed and delivered with our peer researcher team. It is designed to support people with lived experience to develop the knowledge and skills needed to take an active role in qualitative research – from shaping research questions and collecting data to analysis and sharing findings.

The resources include four training modules covering peer research, qualitative research methods, research ethics and thematic analysis, alongside a training guide and practical materials to support researchers setting up and working with a peer research team.

Making these resources openly available means that the learning from our project can now support other teams wanting to develop meaningful peer research approaches and create greater opportunities for people with lived experience to shape and conduct research.
