MS Trust Conference

Karen giving her talk to a full audience!

Karen Chong, one of our peer researchers, spoke to healthcare professionals at the MS Trust Conference about her experience of being involved in the project.

Karen shared reflections on working as a peer researcher and the value of involving people with lived experience of MS directly in the research process. She also talked about what the team learned through interviewing and working with people from Black British and South Asian communities living with MS.

It was a valuable opportunity to bring the experiences and learning from the project directly to healthcare professionals working across MS services, and to demonstrate the contribution peer researchers can make to shaping how research is conducted and communicated.
